Next up: we need a new location. In the comments on our last post, we determined that we need something both close to public transit (Muni, BART, and Caltrain) and central enough that the North Bay contingent would not be excluded.

Our group started small, so Café Abir worked well initially. Should we “reset” and head over to Café Abir? What are your thoughts?

Let’s revive SFlickr! We need to choose a day and time that works for the most people. Please vote in the poll. Note: you are just voting on one day per month, so if you have a commitment every third Thursday but other Thursdays work for you, please note that in the comments. You may choose more than one day!

Additionally, we need a location. We used to meet at Crossroads Café because it can accommodate large groups, has parking nearby, and is easy to get to from public transit. Not to mention the friendly staff, good lighting, and caaaaaaaake. If you have another idea, please leave it in the comments.

2009 San Francisco Open Studios is well underway with many photography exhibits, including work from SFlickr’s own Marilynne Morshead (also known as Sylph*) in Studio Nocturne.

Studio Nocturne will be located in the Fort Mason Center, Building D, Fleet Room on Weekend 2 (October 17-18) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
